Cliff Lake:
Allagash headwater pond 60 miles from the nearest town. Log cabin sets on the thoroughfare between Cliff Lake and Twin Lakes, a combination of a deep clear rocky lake and a shallow, marshy lake. Brook Trout and Lake Trout make for good fishing. The lakes have many ledge outcrops, islands, spring inlets and Norway Pine Points, an excellent area for exploring. The camp sleeps up to six people.
Mooseleuk Lake: Large marsh lake with excellent views of the Rocky Brook Mountains. There isnít a better wildlife watching area in Maine; moose and other wildlife are seen daily along the shores. Lake is part of a state waterfowl project. Excellent trout fishing in streams and deadwaters are reached by boat. Cabin sleeps six or more with separate sleeping camp available nearby, if desired.
Mooseleuk Stream: One of our newest outpost cabins. Excellent fly fishing in Mooseleuk Stream for brook trout. New log cabin sleeps six.
Chandler Pond Inlet: Long, narrow pond nestled in a deep valley with many small ponds nearby. Cabin sets on a bluff near the inlet of the pond. Good gravel road access. Fishing includes brook trout and landlocked salmon. This cabin sleeps 5.
Chandler Pond Outlet: Picturesque site reached by seaplane from a base camp on Millinocket Lake. Fishing is available on Chandler Lake and nearby fly fishing ponds. Cabin is used in conjunction with a guided and special package trip -- some limited space available. Sleeps 4 in two cabins.
Clear Lake: Two cabins on a deep, crystal clear, 400-acre lake. This lake is part of the Allagash River drainage. Youíll be staying in a historic cabins built for J.P. Morgan near the turn of the century. Clear Lake is known for its huge lake trout and brookies and is within a 10-minute walk of Little Pleasant Pond, a famous fly fishing pond. Access to this very remote area is fly-in or 4 x 4 only.
River Camp: Junction pool where Millinocket and Munsungan Streams merge to form the Aroostook River. Historic halfway camp where customers arrived by canoe to base camps on Millinocket Lake. This is the prettiest site on the Aroostook River. The Streamís pools hold salmon and trout. The camp is located approximately 15 miles from Oxbow, Maine. Travel is over gravel logging roads with the last mile privately gated. Cabin sleeps 6.
